Elevate your SAP project management skills by learn to scale and customize mainstream agile methods, practices and tools to fit your SAP project needs, avoid costly preparation errors, and take your career to the next level.

Agile Scaling for SAP Programs

Learning Overview

The "Agile Scaling for SAP Programs" course instructs SAP professionals on how to adapt agile methodologies and tools to suit their projects' unique needs. It encompasses recognizing project requirements, assessing effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement, and surmounting common obstacles. This course addresses a gap in knowledge within the community of SAP project managers, as applying agile methodologies to SAP system configuration and deployment is challenging since SAP requirements are complex and dependent on multiple combinations of factors while Agile development relies on iterative cycles that prioritize flexibility and adaptability, which may be impractical or ineffective for large-scale customizations. Also, SAP has typically been regarded as a traditional waterfall-type project, despite current methodologies advocating agile as the preferred approach. Nevertheless, 90% of SAP programs still use a traditional waterfall approach due to a lack of well-defined realistic and down to earth Agile approach.

These, led to having many SAP professionals not being practically familiar with how to use Agile to deliver value in an SAP program.

Despite these challenges, there are many benefits to adopting agile methodologies in SAP programs. For instance, agile development can foster better collaboration between business and IT teams, enhance project visibility and transparency, and facilitate faster delivery of value to stakeholders. Furthermore, agile methodologies can help SAP programs become more adaptable to changing business requirements, which is critical in today's rapidly evolving business landscape.

This learning experience will elevate your SAP project management skills by learn to scale and customize mainstream agile methods, practices and tools to fit your SAP project needs, and avoid costly preparation errors, and take your career to the next level.

You will maintain a very well-established thinking pattern that enables you to go beyond frameworks and methodologies, which will result in a unique and effective approach to project delivery.

Additionally, the training program will emphasize the importance of maintaining a methodical delivery pattern. This will ensure that your work is consistently high-quality and efficient, leading to successful project outcomes. By the end of the training program, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to take a flexible and adaptable approach to project delivery, while maintaining a consistent and methodical approach to ensure success.

By mastering the art of agile project management, you will be able to circumvent the costly and time-consuming errors that often occur during the preparation phase of a project. Without this knowledge, you may find yourself as an SAP professional wasting precious time trying to figure things out if a decision is made to apply Agile as the project approach for delivery, instead of focusing on more critical tasks.

The cost of not knowing the information provided in this course can be measured in terms of lost time, missed opportunities, and decreased revenue.
